I have had more success in engaging the mission of Christ by hanging out with my neighbors in the last 8 mos than I did in 5 yrs of consumer church. Every program allows members to live vicariously through others as opposed to taking the mission individually and personally to their personal circles of influence. We have decided not to even tell folks to invite friends, but instead to tell others of what Christ is doing in them. Thanks Michael I agree totally.
